Trime Media, the Corporate Communications Consultancy based in Manama put Bahrain firmly on the international marketing communications stage and walked off it with gold. Trime entered its ReThink Road Safety campaign for the Ministry of Interior into the prestigious InterDirect network Awards held this year in Stockholm, Sweden and won gold in one category, received strongest campaign concept of the year and also reached the final for the Grand Prix, Agency of the Year.

The InterDirect Network is an association of direct marketing and digital agencies that was established in 1988 and operates in over 30 countries employing over 1750 employees. The network enables local clients to operate on an international scale by using global partners while being directed by the client’s local agency.

Trime Media was established in 2006 and offers high quality communication solutions through corporate communications, branding and business advisory services - providing clients with the requisite tools to expand and enhance their business value.

The InterDirect Network Awards are held annually in a different international location and this year the awards were hosted by the Swedish capital, Stockholm - where the renowned Vision Zero road traffic safety initiative was ratified. Trime managed to win gold for its ReThink road safety campaign – for best integrated/multi-media solution and also won best overall campaign concept of 2015. One member of the jury commented on the campaign ‘I love the simplicity. A strong, compelling message, excellent art and copy.’ Beyond winning the 2 awards, Trime also achieved finalist placing for the esteemed Grand Prix Award.

Chairman of Trime Media, Khalid Ali Salem stated ‘it is a tremendous honour for the agency and a real welcome opportunity for us to help to put Bahrain on the international communication awards map. ReThink has now become part of the vernacular in Bahrain society and behaviours are changing as a result. We couldn’t have achieved this without the cooperation of Ministry of Interior and in particular the direction of His Excellency Minister of Interior Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. We hope such an encouraging start acts as a catalyst for the next stages of the campaign.
